Ganzirri

Ganzirri, just at the south of Torre Faro, has preserved its aspect of seafaring village, with its characteristic of overlooking contemporarily on the Straits and on one of the salty lake of Capo Peloro's wildlife reserve. The lakes are connected through some channels that flow also into the sea. The lake of Ganzirri is the biggest, it expands lengthwise and there the fishermen use to breed mussels and clams. This zone is one of the most favorite of the citizens, and you have to visit it. If you are in this part of the coast particularly during the spring or the autumn, you could see the passage of migratory birds that like to stop in this lagoon area.
